Return and refunds

Change of mind returns
At Xiaomi Tech, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. That's why we offer a 30 day change of mind return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your order to initiate a return for a refund or exchange, minus any postage costs. For orders with free shipping that include small, single items under 1kg, a $10.80 charge will be deducted from the total refund amount. For all other orders with free shipping, postage costs will be calculated based on the actual dimensions and weight and deducted from the total refund amount.
To be eligible for a change of mind return:
- Products must be returned unused and in brand-new, original condition with their original packaging. If the packaging has been opened, a partial refund of 80% will be issued for products valued over $100, while products under $100 will receive a refund minus $20. The item must be returned in its original sales packaging. Returns of damaged or non-original condition items may be rejected or subject to further deductions from the refund.
- Start your return within 30 days of receiving your order with your purchase details.
- You are responsible for return postage costs. We recommend using Registered Post with tracking and insurance for valuable items, as we cannot assist with items lost in transit.
Faulty or defective returns
If your product has developed a fault or defect within 30 days of receiving your order, we offer an expedited exchange or replacement process.
To be eligible for faulty or defective return:
- Ensure the product is free from physical or liquid damage, and includes its original packaging and accessories.
- Start your return within 30 days of receiving your order with your purchase details, description of the issue, photos of the issue and any manufacturer case ID if applicable.
- We will cover any return postage costs.
Dead on arrival, not as described or damaged in transit returns
If your product is dead on arrival, different to what you ordered or damaged in transit, we offer an expedited exchange or replacement process.
To be eligible for not as described or damaged in transit return:
- Ensure the product is free from physical or liquid damage, and includes its original packaging and accessories.
- Start your return within 1 day of receiving your order with your purchase details, description of the issue and photos of the damage or wrong product received.
- We will cover any return postage costs.
Manufacturer Warranty
Details about manufacturer warranties can be found on our warranty page. Our return policy complements and does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which guarantees that our goods come with non-excludable guarantees.
Exclusions
Please note, our 30-Day Change of Mind return policies only apply to products purchased for personal use and do not cover commercial purposes. Purchases of more than three quantity per single item in a single transaction are considered for business use.
